Martyrdom of Guru Arjan DevAs per the history recorded Guru Arjan Dev is the fifth Guru of the Sikhs. And he became the first martyr of Sikh faith and on 16 June every year, and The Mughal Emperor Jahangir ordered to be tortured and sentenced to death to the fifth Sikh Guru Arjan Dev on 16 June, 1606. So that , on 16 June every year, the Sikhs commemorate the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev. On this precious moment and holy day let's pray tribute to the Sikh Guru and pray for global peace .
