National Michigan Day 2021. Every year on 18th of January this day has been celebrated to recognize the great lake sea, Michigan has more shorelines than any of the contiguous 48 states ,of the 50 states only Alaska has more .by the explored by the French ,Michigan would become a centre of industrial activity but it separates upper and lower peninsulas of the 26th state granted statehood .but it was difficult while move from one peninsula to another side then ferries started to carry travelers back and forth .But in 1957, the Mackinac Bridge connected the two sides making the journey more convenient and safer. At 26,372 feet long, now it is the third longest suspension bridge in the world.
